I picked up a few new frags for the reef tank. Here are all the details on Reef Central.
I also modified my Euro-Reef skimmer to run silently. Premium Aquatics sells a kit for $40 that has all the matching parts, including a gate valve to dial in the skimmate production precisely. I installed it a couple of days ago, and am pleased with it.
In the same order, my AquaLifter came in, which I'm going to use with my auto-topoff system. It is a pump that sits on top of the container, and draws up the liquid. It doesn't matter if the container runs dry, as this pump doesn't burn up if it lacks fluid. I'm looking forward to seeing how it does.
Tucker continues to chew on my zoanthids, and it is driving me crazy. I'm going to have to move what is left of the zoos into the sump, and catch that Hippo Tang finally.
