Speaking engagements...

Last weekend, the East Texas Reefers (Tyler) asked me to come out and speak to their club members about sumps. It was a lot of fun talking to a small excited group of hobbyists. About 25-30 hobbyists gathered that day, and shared in conversation and delicious treats. PLUS it was almost an open bar event. :D

In January, MARSH (Houston) has invited me to speak to their club about the same topic, which is fine. I'll have a power point presentation, and some video footage of working with acrylic, as well as some reefing visual aids.

On January 27th, DFWMAS will host the annual full day conference: Next Wave 2007! This event runs throughout the day, with four speakers presenting reef-related topics, a catered lunch, and ends with our famous raffle. DFWMAS will have a sign up page if you'd like to attend. Remember, it is the last Saturday of January. I'll update this Reef Log with more information and a link to sign up as soon as it is available.
