October 2003 Tridacna Maxima Clam Images
This Tridacna Maxima has been in my 29g reef for over one year under 165w Power Compact Lighting.
Here are a few close up shots of the mantle.
The raised bumps are normal.
The valley portion.
One of the two valves this clam uses for filter feeding.
The second valve. I believe this is the ejection valve.
