Copperband Butterfly

This was a baby blue Acropora. It is now greenish-brown.

Diploastrea

Unknown, but I love it. Brent gave it to me.

The tips of this furry A. millepora are light blue, and the corallites are neon-blue.

I love this intersection of A. millepora.

Another view, with the left coral in focus this time.

A snail's view of the reef tank.

Acropora tenuis, with a Tiger Cowrie behind it.

Large polyped zoanthids

Now some shots from above, via my top down photo box.

Two sizes of zoanthids. Those on the right are Mean Green zoos.

Acropora sp.

Acropora (staghorn family)

Unknown Acropora sp. - it has good color, nice polyp extension, and growing branches at last.

Blue tipped Acropora millepora.

Green Acropora sp., Neon Star Polyps in lower left, yellow sponge in crevices.

Acropora millepora, with some brown tips. This happens to this coral all the time, stunting growth.

Tiger Cowrie, its mantle retracted. The Blue Damsel and Lemon Meringue Wrasse posed briefly. ;)

Acropora granulosa. This piece is dark green in the core, and lime green in the newer branches.

Baby Branching Hammer colony (LPS).

Acropora sp. - doing quite well consider it was almost a total loss. It is growing out in table fashion.

Scripps Acro (left), Acropora sp. (center), Acropora yongei (right), Maze coral (bottom).

Acropora millepora - this piece has grown so large I can no longer get its full picture via the photobox.

Acropora millepora - baby from the parent pictured above.

Love this shot of the parent A. millepora. The polyp extention, the color, the tips... nice!

Acropora millepora - green polyps, orange-ish base. I got this piece as two branches a year ago.

Acropora nobilis. This looked brown the day I bought it, but immediately looked better in my tank.

False percula (ocellaris) clownfish, swimming over its host of Lavender Frilly mushrooms.

Hot pink Acropora millepora. (Yes, I have a lot of A. millepora.)

This Scripps acro is growing right up and over the branch of Acropora nobilis without damage.

Acropora secale - what gorgeous colors.

Toadstool leather coral, grown from a small cube of flesh over the past couple of years.

Tyree Acropora valida.

Acropora sp. from Zenya.

And finally, a few vertical shots. I usually don't take these, but thought it was kind of a nice change.
