Reef Shots - 1/23/05

I took a few pictures today, and used the built-in flash. Camera: Fuji S602Z.

You can see all three blue tangs in these two images. Two are yellow-bellies, one is not.

This is an Asterina starfish, a tiny hitchhiker. In these images, the brown area is from the belly.
Minutes later the brown was sucked back in and virtually invisible, leaving the underside all white.

A baby Blue Maxima clam, still growing quietly. I did move it up higher about a month ago, but it prefers the floor.

This odd shot shows a few orange clownfish eggs in the foreground. The male is mouthing the eggs, out of sight.

The mother is in the upper right of this image. She is over 7 years old now.

My coral beauty came with the 55g I had for 2 years. There is still a little scarring around the eye, but it is 95% better than when it first came into my care. Most of the head and eye area was damaged or eroded.

I've had Phoenix, my Flame Angel, for almost two and a half years now. Great fish; tough to photograph.

Nibbles loves to face me head-on, but rarely can I get that photograph.

Spock, my Naso Tang, is getting too large to photograph. LOL

Two more nice pictures of the Powder Blue Tang.

Lots of fish, at it wasn't feeding time. I guess they all wanted their picture taken at the same time. ;)

A few of my peppermint shrimp came out briefly.

The green Target Mandarin, searching for a meal.

Tucker, now over a year old, has grown substantially.

This Hippo tang looks different than Tucker because it has a yellow belly.
