Tiger Cowrie sighted

I picked up a Tiger Cowrie a few months ago, but it don't see it often.  Considering it is the size of a lemon, it's hard to imagine it would be difficult to locate.  Last week, a green smoke came pumping out from under a rock, and when I ducked down and peeked upward at the underside of a flat rock, I saw the cowrie.  It was spawning, and this went on for nearly an hour. After that event, I imagined it would be out and about.  Tonight there it was out in the open...

The funny thing that crossed my mind when I saw where it was was "Is there a coral in that particular spot... that the cowrie may be eating?"  I've not seen it eat anything to generate such a concern, but you read comments by others and those thoughts surface later.  It didn't take but a second to assure myself that it was a sandy spot with no likely fodder.  Here are a couple of pictures to show off the beauty of this animal and its shell, and hopefully give you a sense of scale to see how big it is.  Maybe one day I'll get a picture of this one with one of the other normal sized cowries.  Those little ones are grape-sized by comparison, so that would be a fun picture.

The lights were out, so this is a photo with a flash.  The blue lighting makes the mantle glow a little, but it's beautiful in daylight as well.
